Wedding Anniversary outfit x

This month marks a big one in the "love" department in our house. Not only is it Valentines Day February 14th, but we celebrate our wedding anniversary February 10th and the day we met February 12th.  This year it will be 14 years of marriage and 21 years since we met. I met my husband on a nightclub dance floor.  He still loves a boogie and it looks like our now 3 year old is his partner for life on the dance floor.  Here we are with three beautiful kids, after three corporate relocation's and fourteen years away from our home country of Australia. We are certainly having quite an adventure.  I love them dearly and count my blessings each day.  So enough about me, let's get into the outfit to celebrate this momentous occasion.  I hope he has actually organized something because I have certainly organized my outfit!

I picked up the zebra print top at Nordstrom Rack for $35 recently and just needed to keep on searching for the perfect bottom to pair it with. Some great colors to go with zebra print would, of course, be black and white but pops of color work very well too. Try tangerine, azure blue, red (which are colors for Spring, see blog post HERE about Spring/Summer Trends for 2015).  I love Pinterest so check out my Zebra print board HERE for some more zebra print inspirations.

Vince Camuto top. $34. Nordstrom Rack. Current.

From my own closet. NYDJ Velveteen leggings/Julianne Hough for Sole Society heels.

White Jacket. Forever 21. Current. $24.95.
I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this for summer. And at that price, if it only lasts a season, no problem!

Magnetic clasp bracelets. Nordstrom Rack. Current. $14.95 each.
These are heavy and chunky, just my style.

I have had these black chandelier earrings for as long as I can remember, maybe even from our Singapore living days 7 years ago! Worn them to death! Good staple.

Do you want to see how YummoMummo made 9 outfit combinations (including this one) out of 7 items (plus accessories) for only $134. Come shopping with YummoMummo in my next blogpost (due Friday). So you never miss a post, best to Subscribe by Email on my homepage.

    1. Hi Albertine, I get ALOT of wear out of these heels. I don't have dainty ankles and wanted to try this style with out cutting my ankles off (making them appear larger) with one large strap so the thinner strapS help me play with the style and make my feet feel really supported. *Hope I am making sense!

    1. Hi Laura, you made my blush! Thanks and glad you liked it. I'm noticing I am quite partial to animal print and stripes. Must try more florals for the Spring but I think this top is going to get a lot of use out of YummoMummo in the future. Just think of all the possibilities? With tangerine pants, a black tulle skirt., red ballet flats.... the list goes on!
